Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme run by the folk if The Broke and Bookish.
1. Peter Pan: I’d been meaning to get this book for ages. Finally picked from off the shelf sometime last year.
2. Poisonwood Bible: I’d read so many good reviews on this book that I simply had to buy it!
3. Voices: A Tolkien scholar from a site I used to frequent, once mentioned how much he enjoyed Le Guin – almost as much as he did Tolkien. So, I just had to pick up something of hers to see what the fuss was all about.
4. Fantasy Short Story Anthologies (two of ‘em): Fantasy short stories…what else can I say!
5. Pendragon Cycle: I love anything to do with King Arthur and this series is written by one of my favourite authors (Stephen R Lawhead), so I grabbed it.
6. Homer’s Odyssey: I’d read the Iliad. I wanted to read the Odyssey.
7. The Wind in the Willows: Another books I’ve been meaning to read for eons!
8. Far From the Madding Crowd: I dunno. I just had to have it.
9. The Moonstone: Again, many interesting reports. Plus I’d never heard of Wilkie Collins until I’d joined Goodreads…so…
10. Hollow Hills: Second book of a series on Merlin.
